Capital Pointe Hole scheduled to be filled by October

Believe it or not, the city is saying work on filling the Capital Pointe Hole could be done by October.

A statement from the City says the hole is just over 70 percent filled and if there is no delays caused by the weather or unforeseen complications, the work should be completed by October.

Work on filling the hole started in June with crews working day and night Monday-Friday. Its believed the total cost of the project is just under three million dollars with that money going to the property tax bill of the owners which remains Westgate Properties.
