Two Northern Ontario residents facing numerous charges after collision near Indian Head

Indian Head RCMP have arrested two people from Northern Ontario for numerous charges, all resulting from a traffic stop Thursday.

Calls were made to the RCMP about the suspect’s vehicle being involved in a minor collision with another vehicle. RCMP arrested the man driving the vehicle, as well as the woman in the passenger seat.

A search of the vehicle discovered numerous illegal items, such as fake identity documents, fraudulent bank cards, counterfeit document making equipment, tax cheques and substances believed to be crystal meth.

29 year-old Shawn Anderson and 33 year-old Stephanie Maisey of North Bay, Ontario are both facing six charges, including dangerous driving possession of stolen property, and possession of a scheduled substance.

The two are being held in custody, and will appear in Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court August 19th.
