RPS arrest and charge a Winnipeg man for Tuesday morning assault

A 23 year old Winnipeg man is facing multiple charges after an early morning incident in Regina.

Police were called to a business on the 4200 block of Albert Street just before 1:30am Tuesday for a report of an assault.

Reports say the suspect entered the business, took some items and got into a physical altercation with an employee.

Police say the suspect then assault a person outside the business before fleeing on foot.

Officers found the man in the area of Albert and 13th Avenue and was arrested without incident.

Kristopher Holomay is facing five charges including assault, aggravated assault and theft under $5,000.

He will appear in court later today and RPS says the investigation is still ongoing.
