Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings out in southwestern Saskatchewan

Environment Canada has issued Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings for the southwestern corner of the province Thursday morning.

The weather office says at 8:40 a.m. Doppler indicated a severe thunderstorm was located about 30 km south of Maple Creek and was moving toward the northeast at 30 km/h.

The storm is said to be capable of producing quarter sized hail.
