A man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for human trafficking related charges has been arrested.

The Regina Police Service says 26 year old Daniel Khet was arrested in Montreal on August 28th on unrelated matters.

Police say Khet was remanded in Montreal and will return to Regina to appear in court on charges from an investigation into offences that allegedly took place in Saskatchewan between the end of March and beginning of April.

He is facing nine charges including trafficking in persons, forcible confinement and assault.

Police say Khet will appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
