Regina police investigating Saturday morning single-vehicle collision

Officers were called out to a single-vehicle collision in south Regina early Saturday morning after a vehicle struck a tree.

Police were dispatched to the incident at around 2:10 a.m. to the 3200 block of Albert Street.

The Regina Police Service has determined from the early stages of the investigation that the vehicle was heading northbound and began crossing onto the west side of the street before hitting a tree and coming to a stop.

Two 17-year-old men and an 18-year-old woman were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. The young men were in the driver and passenger seats; the woman occupied a rear passenger seat at the time of the accident.

While the woman passenger did not require medical treatment, EMS transported the 17 year olds to hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
