Some commuters may have noticed smoke and sirens early Monday morning in east Regina.

A truck catching fire on Fines Drive was responsible for that.

620 CKRM’s Jim Smalley was nearby and said crews were on the scene quickly and had the fire out a short time later.

No one was inside the vehicle, traffic was not affected.
