An early mistake in the Amazing Race Canada finale may have cost Regina sisters Lauren and Joanne Lavoie Tuesday night.

Misplacing a race clue put the pair behind early in the final leg, and the two were never able to recover.

None-the-less the first contestants to compete on the reality show from Saskatchewan had an impressive third place finish, taking out some strong teams along the way.

The two are now spending their time doing media interviews before normal life begins again.
