It did not take long for the attacks against Justin Trudeau to start from Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer as the federal election campaign is officially underway.
Scheer says he plans on showing Canadians how Trudeau has misled them. “He has lied. He has looked Canadians in the eyes and said things he knew was not true and we have made the case that he has lost the moral authority to govern.”
He says you simply can’t trust Trudeau and he will say anything to get re-elected. “Over the next five weeks or so, we are going to be outlining our vision for the country to put more money back in the pockets of Canadians and let them get ahead.”
Scheer also spoke about a Globe and Mail report suggesting that the RCMP’s investigation into the SNC-Lavalin has been affair RCMP’s probe into potential obstruction of justice in the SNC-Lavalin affair is being interrupted because the federal government will not lift cabinet confidentiality for all witnesses.
The Conservative leader says this is why you should think twice before casting a vote for the Liberals on October 21. “You just cannot trust Justin Trudeau. He will say anything to cover up his scandals, he will say anything to get re-elected and Canadians cannot believe the things that he says.”
Scheer is starting his campaign in Quebec which is considered to be a very pivotal province when it comes to who could win the October 21st vote. He goes into the campaign having a sizable lead in the polls in Saskatchewan.
