Ford recalling 23,000 Explorers due to sharp seat edge

Ford is recalling more than 300,000 of its 2017 Explorers, including about 23,000 in Canada, because of a sharp seat frame edge.

The automaker says there have been 31 reports of hand injuries from users reaching between the power front seat and centre console.

Owners are advised to use caution and avoid contact with the seat frame edge until the vehicle is brought to a dealer for repair.
