Police attend vehicle rollover in northeast Regina

A vehicle was lying upside down on Saturday morning following a collision that took place in northeast Regina.

Police were sent to the intersection of Ross Avenue and Winnipeg Street at around 6:45 a.m. after receiving information of a two-vehicle collision that resulted in a car rolling over and landing upside down. They were also told one of the drivers may have been injured in the accident.

The investigation found that the two vehicles were southbound and next to each other on Winnipeg Street approaching the intersection.

The vehicle in the left lane sideswiped the vehicle on the right, causing the vehicle in the left lane to veer into the centre meridian and roll over onto its roof.

Both drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles during the accident. After EMS arrived to the scene for precautionary measures, the drivers stated they had no complaint of injuries.

This investigation is ongoing.
