A 17-year veteran of the Regina Police Service is taking an assault charge against him to trial.
Colin Magee was charged in the spring with two assaults stemming from incidents in September of 2018.
He pleaded guilty to the other charge, one of the victims of the assault was under 18-years-of-age.
Magee is still with the Regina Police Service but has been placed on administrative duties for the time being.
Magee was also accused of assaulting a man named James Escamilla while arresting him in 2017, that charge was eventually dropped.
