Liberals and Conservatives still neck and neck a week into the campaign

With week one of the election campaign complete, a Leger poll conducted for The Canadian Press puts the Liberals and Conservatives in a virtual tie.

The Liberals are holding steady at 34 per cent support while the Tories have dipped two points to 33 per cent.

But when it comes to who would make the best prime minister, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is up two points to 27 per cent while Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has slipped one point to 22 per cent.
