Regina Police say they’ve shutdown four illegal cannabis dispensaries in the city.

Around 4:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, officers conducted raids at dispensaries on the 1400 block of Scarth Street, 2800 block of Saskatchewan Drive, 2400 block of Dewdney Avenue and the 1500 block of 11th Avenue.

At every dispensary police seized illicit cannabis, cannabis products such as oils and edibles and cash and documents related to the sale of the illicit goods.

The owners were fined and charged for unlawfully committing offences under the Saskatchewan Cannabis Control Act.
