Police investigate two bear spray incidents

Regina Police are investigating two weapons incident with bear spray used on two victims.

On Friday police were called to the home of a 33 year old woman who was the victim of a bear spray assault.

The woman said the incident happened at about 9:00pm in the area of 12th Avenue and Ottawa Street.

Reports says a man called her over to his truck and they sprayed her.

The truck is described as blue, four doors and driven by a Caucasian man with curly hair.

RPS says another woman was bear-sprayed by someone driving what was described as a black truck at 9:30pm on Friday.

The 44 year old victim says it happened on the 1200 block of an alley between Garnet and Cameron Streets.

Both incidents are under investigation.

Police say it cannot be confirmed if the two incidents are related, but the time frame and locations indicate a potential link.
