The Ministry of Social Services is providing $334,025 in operational funding and over $6.5-million in annual funding to operate 14 residential service projects and day programs.

In-home nursing for Chip and Dale Homes in Regina is being supported by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Chairperson Wayne Thrasher says he is excited about this project and the new partnership with the Ministry of Health. He adds that this partnership assists them in meeting the complex medical needs of persons with intellectual disabilities in the community setting.

Chip and Dale has been supporting people with intellectual disabilities since 1983.
