Gaming workers reach new agreement with Casino Regina

The Public Service Alliance of Canada, which represents gaming workers at Casino Regina, has reached a collective agreement with SaskGaming.

The deal, reached last week, addresses several issues within the workplace as well as financial certainty, according to PSAC’s Regional Executive Vice-President Marianne Hladun.

The new agreement includes a 4.5% salary increase over five years, ending December 31st, 2021.

It also includes a .5% increase to the pension plan, which will be matched by the employer, improvement to the Attendance Management system, new provisions for religious and cultural traditions, compassionate leave, and a one day increase for bereavement and family responsibility leave.
