A home in the Cathedral area suffered severe smoke and water damage after an early morning fire Tuesday.

The Regina Fire Department say they were called to the home at 15th Avenue and Rae Street just after 7 am after receiving a report from a passerby about smoke coming fro the home

Upon arrival, firefighters were greeted by heavy smoke and flames coming from the basement and the main level.

No one was home at the time. It’s not known at this time what caused the fire.
