A GoFundMe campaign for the family of a man killed in a garage fire last Friday night has already surpassed 10-thousand dollars.

23 year old Kelly Strobl died after the fire and explosion at his west Regina home. He had been working on a vehicle when sparks from a grinder ignited fumes in a gas tank. The fire department has said the death was “accidental”

The page is called the Kelly Strobl Memorial Baby Fund as he and his partner were expecting a baby in March.
