RCMP say Highway 1 has been re-opened after an accident involving two semis about seven miles east of Chaplin Monday night.

Crews were called to the scene around 7:30 p.m.

Police say both drivers suffered only minor injuries, however the road was blocked for several hours while rescue and tow vehicles cleared the scene.

Chaplin is about 85 kilometers west of Moose Jaw.
