Yorton RCMP issue Canada-wide warrant for Calgary business owner

Yorkton RCMP has issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a Calgary construction company owner accused of fraud.

Police began a fraud investigation into the development of a retail store on Broadway Avenue back in December 2016.

Calgary-based company GNRL Construction won the bid and subcontracted several local companies to finish the project.

Police determined the company fraudulently failed to pay the subcontractors for their work.

Company owner Christos Eutathios Fotopoulos of Calgary is wanted on charges of fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000 and breach of trust.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
