NDP raises concern about a crisis in Sask schools

The NDP is calling on the SaskParty government to resolve a crisis in Saskatchewan classrooms.

Opposition leader Ryan Meili says overcrowded classrooms affect the quality of education and create unsafe conditions for students.

Meili says overcrowded classrooms are seeing more violence and a lower quality of education.

Premier Scott Moe says the SaskParty government has a record 2.5 billion dollar investment in education this year, with 12 hundred more teachers than under the NDP.

He says there are 41 percent more speech language pathologists, occupational therapists are up 26 percent and psychologists up 25 percent in Saskatchewan schools.
