Regina Police say a stolen vehicle was involved in a rollover early Tuesday morning on north Albert Street, north of the Albert Street overpass.

Officers were on the scene just before 2:00 a.m. Tuesday when the roll over took place.

Police say the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed when it rolled several times into the ditch causing damage to a fence, and significant damage to the vehicle itself.

The two occupants inside were taken into custody and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say traffic is no longer restricted in the area.

Names of the accused were not made public.
