Final push for Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital as Radiothon enters day two

The province is once again coming through for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.

Harvard Broadcasting’s 17th Radiothon designed at raising money for equipment at the hospital, which has just opened continues on 620 CKRM and our two sister stations, MY 92.1 and 104.9 The Wolf, with everything wrapping up at 5:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Sash Broda with the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation said the support shown on day one with donations from the public and corporate sponsors has been amazing with more expected Thursday before things close for another year.

He said this facility is something Saskatchewan has needed and is now there for you if need be.

“This hospital is here for kids and families from every single corner of the province, it doesn’t matter where you’re from,” Broda said. “This hospital is for you Saskatchewan, it’s built to make sure families have the best possible experience they can while they’re in a hospital.”
