Regina man faces weapons possession charges after pellet gun incident in cathedral neighbourhood

Regina Police have arrested and charged a 40 year-old man in connection to a weapons incident that involved a pellet gun.

Just after midnight on Thursday morning, police were called to the 2900 block of 13th avenue for a reported suspicious person that was dropping and picking up what appeared to be a pistol.

Officers arrived at the scene and the suspect was taken safely into custody, it was found the suspect was the subject of previous warrants for arrest. A search of the suspect found a pellet gun and a small knife.

40 year-old Dennis McNab faces four charges, including possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and breach of probation.
