Police in Moose Jaw have released the names of a fatal stabbing victim and his accused killer.

The man killed was 50-year-old Kevin Hallock.

In addition police have charged 30-year-old Jeffrey McCaig with second degree murder.

Moose Jaw Police were called to the scene on the 400 block of Stadacona Street East Sunday night shortly after 10:00 p.m., where the victim was found with a stab wound, he was taken to hospital by EMS and pronounced dead.

The accused will make his first court appearance this afternoon.
