The Regina Police Service is now investigating 2019’s 8th homicide in the Queen City.

Police say the death investigation that started on Saturday is now being deemed a homicide.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Robinson Street at about 3:25am for a report of a deceased man.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Jordan Denton and the family has been notified.

RPS and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service is continuing to investigate.
