Pats and Broncos make trade while announcing makeup game to be played November 19

After being forced at the last minute to cancel their game against the Swift Current Broncos on November 8, the Regina Pats have announced the game will be made-up and played Tuesday, November 19.

A decision was made to cancel the game shortly before faceoff on November 8 because of a problem with the ice plant that made the surface unplayable.

All tickets for the Nov. 8 game will be honoured for the game which will start at 7 PM.

Season ticket holders can use their season ticket cards and will have the same function as any other game.

Fans unable to attend who had tickets can request refunds or voucher replacements from either the Pats business office or the Brandt Centre box office.  The team asks all refund requests be done prior to 5 PM on November 18.

When the two teams play on the 19th, two players will be facing their old team as the Broncos and Pats swung a trade late Wednesday afternoon.

Regina sends 17 year old defenceman Sam McGinley to the Broncos for 18 year old forward Carter Chorney.  Chorney (6’1, 171 pounds) has played in 120 games in the league between Spokane and Swift Current, scoring 17 goals and 33 points.
