Two people are facing charges related to a weapons investigation involving the Street Gang Unit, K9 and Community Service Division.

The Regina Police Service says a search warrant was done at a home on Richie Crescent just after 9:00pm Wednesday.

A man and woman, who had fled the home on foot, were arrested without incident by officers earlier.

Police say the woman was in possession of brass knuckles.

The search of the home found a loaded, sawed-off 20-gauge shotgun, a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun, shotgun and rifle ammunition and a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Police add the man and woman were then charged in connection with the search.

RPS says 22-year-old Collin Pratt of the Punnichy District is facing 20 charged including nine counts of possession of weapon contrary to prohibition order, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Thirty-eight-year-old Francine O’Watch of Regina is facing four charges including carrying a concealed weapon and unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
