A 66-year-old man has died after he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street on Friday night in Regina.
The accident happened at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Robinson Street.
An early investigation into the incident found that an eastbound vehicle hit the victim as he was walking north in the west crosswalk through the intersection.
Regina police and EMS were called out to the scene at around 9:39 p.m. on Friday. Responders transported the man to hospital where he was confirmed dead.
His name will not be released to the public at this time while the investigation continues.
