Pats hope to end losing streak versus Raiders on Experience Regina Night

Hockey fans are in for a treat on Saturday night at the Brandt Centre when the Regina Pats (2-12-2-0) host the Prince Albert Raiders (13-4-3-0) for their Experience Regina Night.

The Pats enter the contest with just two wins this season; their last win was on October 19 in a 6-5 shootout victory over the Rebels in Red Deer.

While Regina sits in the basement of the WHL standings, the Raiders are close to the peak. Despite coming off a 3-2 loss at home against the Rebels last Saturday, Prince Albert carries the second-best record in the league with 29 points in 20 games.

The Raiders also have the upper hand on the Pats this season having won all three of their meetings so far. After their fourth battle tonight, the Pats will play the Raiders two more times.

Saturday’s game will feature an appearance from TSN’s Jay and Dan who will be meeting fans and signing autographs. The Pats will also be sporting special edition jerseys during the game that are being auctioned off.

Listen to the game here on 620 CKRM with the pre-game show starting up at 6:35 p.m.

Opening faceoff is at 7:00 p.m. from the Brandt Centre in Regina.
