Highway 10 has been re-opened Monday morning after a serous accident forced the road’s closure between Balgonie and Edgeley Sunday night.

In a news release, White Butte RCMP say emergency crews were called to the scene just after 8:00 p.m.

The highway remained closed until just after 1:00 a.m. Monday morning.

No other details including injuries or the number of vehicles involved have been made available at this time.

Police are cautioning motorists that roads are icy across southern Saskatchewan Monday morning and to check with the Highway Hotline before leaving home.
