Regina man recovering after assault with baseball bat

A Regina man has been arrested after he assaulted an individual with a baseball bat.

Regina police responded to a call just before 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and arrived at the 400 block of North Lorne Street.

A 30-year-old man was arriving at his apartment suite where a 20-year-old man attacked him with a baseball bat. The victim sustained minor injuries from this incident.

Police were able to step in and arrest the attacker. He has been identified as Dilas Matlock.

Matlock is set to appear in court on his charge of assault with a weapon on January 16.
