Albert Einstein once stated that the one thing he couldn’t figure out were tax forms. One of the smartest men in history couldn’t figure out how to do his own taxes. There’s poetic justice there, somewhere.
Well, I’m certainly not one of the smartest men in history, but when it comes to putting on new wiper blades, I’m definitely one of the dumbest. When I say I don’t know how to put them on my vehicle, that’s only half of the equation. I don’t even know how to get them off my vehicle!! Duh!
Friday morning I was about to get into my vehicle to make my way to the station before heading off for the final day of Agribition. It had snowed overnight so I went to grab my wiper blade just to smack off whatever ice had accumulated on it. When I did that the top half of my blade broke off. Great! The snow was still coming down and I had about one and a half wiper blades to get me through the morning.
Fortunately, I had enough of a blade left on the driver’s side of the windshield to keep it clean. Better yet, I was on location at Capital Ford later that morning, so I could get new blades once I got there, which I did. It all worked out in the end.
I really am going to have to figure out how to replace those darn wiper blades myself one day.
