An investigation is underway into a potential firearms incident that took place Sunday.

Regina Police were dispatched to a business on the 1200 block of Broad Street for a report of a man in possession of a firearm in his backpack.

The suspect had already paid for merchandise and was on his way out of the store when the discovery was made by a Loss Prevention Officer. The suspect was last seen wearing a red toque, black jacket, grey pants and a red backpack. He was with a woman who was wearing a black hat, black jacket and grey hoodie with grey pants.

While the incident is still under investigation, any information the public have can be shared with Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
