The lawyer for a young man who shot and killed four people in La Loche is going to the Supreme Court of Canada in hopes reducing his clients sentence.
Aaron Fox said his client was just weeks shy of turning 18 in January 2016, when he killed two brothers at their home and a teacher and a teacher’s aide at the La Loche high school.
The teen was sentenced as an adult to life in prison with no chance of parole for 10 years.
An appeal in provincial court was dismissed in October.
