The body of a 60-year-old man was found in a residence in Arcola after a fire Wednesday morning.

RCMP along with the Arcola fire department were called to the scene around 7:00 a.m.

Police say there is no reason to suspect the fire is suspicious at this time.

The Provincial Fire Scene Examiner and Yorkton RCMP Forensic Identification Section attended to assist with the investigation.

The man’s name was not released.

Arcola is about 184 kilometers southeast of Regina.
