Regina Police and SWAT Units called for high-risk warrant Friday

One man faces charges and several others have been arrested after a high-risk search warrant was executed by Regina Police and SWAT Units Friday night.

Police say the incident took place on the 1600 block of 13th Avenue, and was part of an active RPS Street Gang Unit investigation. The warrant was executed without incident.

33 year-old Rodney Starr-Goforth was the only one charged. He faces 13 charges including two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, and three counts of possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order.

The investigation is ongoing.
