City of Regina looking for input on possible liquor store in Cathedral

Regina’s Cathedral Neighbourhood could soon be getting its own Sobey’s Liquor store.

The city is asking for public input on the matter through the city’s website before January 23rd.

The store would be built on the corner of 13th avenue and Retallack street, using up four vacant lots and would mean the tear-down of the Regina-Lakeview provincial constituency office.

The property is currently in a mixed zone according to the city, which means commercial and residential property could be built there.
