It was a busy week for the Regina Police Service, as they made arrests in two separate break and enter cases this weekend.
In the first incident, police say at about 1:50 am on Saturday, officers were called to a restaurant on the 1200 block of 15th Avenue for a break and enter in progress.
Police say a man had broken a window, gained entry and then left.
The man was arrested on the 2300 block of Toronto Street.
RPS says 34-year-old Samuel Wariat faces charges of break and enter and fail to comply with undertaking.
Wariat made his first court appearance on Monday.
Then, on Monday morning at about 1:15, police were dispatched to a business in the 2400 block of 1st Avenue North for a report of a break-in.
A witness told officers they saw a man flee the scene toward the 400 block of Smith Street. Police and K9 units tracked the suspect and made an arrest. The suspect sustained minor injuries from a dog bite during the investigation.
It was also revealed during the investigation the man had broken into multiple storage lockers at the business.
30 year-old Craig Machiskinic faces five charges, including four counts of break and enter.
Machiskinic appeared in court Monday afternoon.
