Driver faces $1.5K fine for driving more than double the speed limit

Not the best Christmas gift for one Saskatchewan driver after RCMP caught them travelling more than double the speed limit.

Police say an officer from Rosthern pulled over a vehicle on Highway 12 near Hepburn for going 214 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone.

The driver is facing a $1,515 fine and a seven day vehicle suspension.
