Holmes OT winner gives Pats victory over Raiders

The Pats first game of the decade will go down as a win thanks to Robbie Holmes.

The 20 year old scored his team-leading 15th of the season just 13 seconds into overtime on Wednesday to lift the team to a 2-1 win over Prince Albert making it three wins in four games to start the second half of the WHL season.

Holmes took a pass from Riley Krane and swept around Prince Albert goalie Boston Bilous before slipping a backhand in to send the Brandt Centre crowd home happy.

Regina is now 11-19-3-1 on the season.  They will be in Swift Current Friday to skate with the Broncos with the two teams going at it again Saturday at the Brandt Centre in games that can be heard on 620 CKRM starting at 7.
