Three face stolen auto charges: RPS

Three people are facing charges after a stolen vehicle was recovered.

The Regina Police Service says officers found a vehicle on Monday that was believed to be stolen sometime on Christmas morning.

Police says officers confirmed it was the stolen car and followed it until it stopped on the 1000 block of McTavish Street.

Three people exited the car and were arrested. Police say a search revealed the keys to the stolen vehicle, identity documents and a stolen cheque.

RPS says 48-year-old Carl Larochelle faces five charges including two counts of identity fraud/possession of an identity document, 40-year-old Lee Rediger faces two charges and 23-year-old Nynpha Starr-Kaiswatum faces three charges.

All three make their first court appearance on Tuesday.
