Extreme cold warnings throughout Sask. Friday

Environment Canada continues its extreme cold warnings for west-central and northern Saskatchewan.

The weather agency says a period of very cold wind chills is expected.

Extreme wind chills colder than minus 40 will continue Friday morning. Wind chills will moderate late this morning, as temperatures warm.

It says risks are greater for young children, older adults, people with chronic illnesses, people working or exercising outdoors, and those without proper shelter.
