Regina police are on the lookout for four suspects involved in a stabbing early Saturday morning.

Police arrived to the 400 block of Connaught Street after a 57-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were stabbed during a gathering at a home.

A group of women were asked to leave after a confrontation took place in the residence. The women then proceeded to hit windows and doors.

When a resident opened a door to tell the suspects to stop, they rushed inside to try and steal items from the home.

The 57-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were stabbed by the suspects when trying to stop the theft. Police believe the women then took off in a vehicle
