An investigation is underway after the body of a man was found in a north Regina home early Friday morning.

Regina Police say they were called to the 500 block of Wascana Street–just off 1st Avenue North, around 1:30 after reports of a man who appeared to be critically injured inside a home.

Emergency first aid was attempted until EMS arrived, but the man died shortly later.

The Coroner’s office is assisting in the investigation.

The name and age of the man is not being released at this time.
