Nutrien’s potash mine near Vanscoy will continue to be closed until the end of February.

This is the second shutdown extension for the potash mine, as it was originally closed in November due to a large supply of potash on the international market. The closure was extended last month through to the end of January.

Workers in Allan and Lanigan Nutrien mines returned to work just before the new year.
