Pools for 2020 Scotties officially announced

Canada’s best women’s curlers are ready to head to Moose Jaw for the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and they now know who will they up against.

Curling Canada officially released what provinces will be in what pool and it is evident the host team will have their work cut out for them as Robyn Silvernagle and her North Battleford team are definitely in the tougher pool.

The Wild Card game at Mosaic Place on February 14 will feature  six-time Scotties champion Jennifer Jones, taking onTracy Fleury after both teams fell short to Kerri Einarsonin the Manitoba championship. Team Jones and Team Fleury qualified for the Wild Card Game as the top two teams on the Canadian Team Ranking System that didn’t win their provincial or territorial championship.

Jones defeated Fleury in the Manitoba semifinal before being losing to Einarson in the final. Admission to the Wild Card Game is free, but donations to the Curling Canada Foundation, helping youth curling across Canada, are being accepted at the door.
