Rams need new HC as Steve Bryce resigns

After four seasons as the head coach of the University of Regina Rams, Steve Bryce is stepping down for what he says are personal reasons.

In his time as head coach, Bryce led the team to the playoffs twice and would have had them there for a 3rd time had it not been for three wins being taken away because of an administrative error by the University that resulted in one of their players being deemed ineligible.

Rams assistant coach and offensive co-ordinator Mark McConkey has been named the interim head coach.

The University is not making any comments on the decision.
