Some files have been compromised after the eHealth ransomware attack took place last month.
eHealth had previously reported that there was no evidence of compromised information after the attack took place January 5th, but has recently discovered some files from their servers that were sent to IP addresses that are seen as ‘suspicious.’
The discovery was made during an analysis of the system that has been underway since it took place.
If any personal health information is compromised, eHealth says it will let the public know.
The provincial NDP have responded, saying the Sask Party government has failed to provide the security they promised to provide Saskatchewan people with the eHealth system.
